The contractor installs the app on their device. All changes are immediately visible to every party in the process. Upon completion, they mark the item as "repaired" in the system. The inspector or supervisor sees the status change, verifies the work on-site, and marks the defect as "completed".
If the contractor does not use the app, generate a clear PDF report with precise defect locations on the floor plan and an Excel list. The contractor works with the printout or file, and you update the statuses in the system after their report.
